This kit includes:
1 Handbrake Lever
1 Handbrake lever mounting bracket
2 handbrake cables
2 new rear caliper mounting brackets
2 parking brake calipers
Fitting:
Remove rear caliper and bracket from the rear hub
Remove caliper from the bracket
Press the caliper slide pin out of the bracket
Press the caliper slide pin into the new bracket
Fit the original caliper onto the bracket next to the parking caliper
Connect the handbrake cable to the parking caliper
Mount the new bracket with 2 calipers onto the rear hub.
Remove the driver's seat
Fit the handbrake cables through the bracket connect to balance plate and to the handbrake
Fit the handbrake onto the bracket using the supplied clamps that also fit around the chassis rail.
Adjust the cable length adjusters and caliper adjusters to get equal movement on each cable, no drag when released and enough grip to hold the vehicle stationnary on a hill while retaining reserve travel.
