Plug and play road legal conversion kit. IMPORTANT NOTE: BANSHEES ARE EXEMPT MSVA AS THEY ARE OVER 10 YEARS OLD AND ONLY REQUIRE MOT AND PROOF OF AGE DOCUMENT TO ROAD REGISTER Optional parts: The kit must not be fitted unless the original electrics are modified from AC to DC and a DC voltage regulator and battery are fitted. If this has not already been done then choose battery and DC regulator in the drop down below. Brake light switches and rear indicators with integral brake lights You will also need: E-Marked Tyres Numberplate bracket Move the headlights apart as they are too close together, or remove both headlights and put a single headlight on the centreline. The Banshee as standard runs 12V AC electrics, this cannot charge a battery. It is recommended to modify the stator and purchase a replacement voltage regulator which will provide 14v DC to charge the battery. See related products below Banshees prior to 2002 need brake lights and brake light switches which will be supplied as part of the kit. Banshees prior to 1995 used an obsolete connector on the handlebar switch. On these early quads it will be necessary to splice the wires of the kit into the original quad wiring as the connector is not available to make a plug and play conversion.
